  • 50 gr sugar
  • 1 kg (2 lb) chestnut (boiled and shelled)
  • 1 lt milk
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 spoon of rum
  • 500 gr (1 lb) wheap cream
  • some little meringue
  • some marron glaces
  • Potato masher


  1. Mix chestnut in a blender
  2. Boil milk,sugar and vanilla bean
  3. Put mixed chestnut in the milk and boil until it became dry (40 minutes/ 1 hour)
  4. Pass into the masher the chestnut compost
  5. Add rum and pass into the masher. Make a mountain with the compost and put in the fridge for 1 hour
  6. After 1 hour put the wheap cream and some meringue and some marron glaces (if you like)

Muffins almonds and orange by Francesca


  • 200gr flour
  • 100gr of crushed almonds
  • 100gr sugar
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 teaspoon of baking powder (or 1 bustina lievito)
  • 2 eggs
  • 80ml sunflower oil


  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and sunflower oil in a bowl
  • In another bowl mix eggs, the skin of the oranges greated and sunflower oil
  • Add the dry mixture to the liquid one and mix together with a wooden spoon
  • Fill half of the muffin case and put in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°
  • Serve with a slice of orange as a decoration

These are my muffins, they look nice and the taste is even better than the appearance!!!


Ciambelline al vino rosso by Francesca


  • ½ glass of red wine
  • ½ glass of olive oil
  • ½ glass of brown sugar
  • 3 glasses of flour
  • ½ teaspoon of baking powder


  • In a bowl mix oil, wine, sugar and a pinch of salt. Once it is mixed add gradually flour and baking powder.
  • Cut small parts from the dough and make little drawstring 1cm in diameter and 10cm long. Close the drawstring as a ring and deep it into brown sugar on both sides.
  • Lay the little rings in a oven pan and put in the pre-heated oven at 180° for 15 minutes.
